LoanTools provides estimates for educational and planning purposes only. Read this before treating any number here as final.

Estimates, not quotes

Every number LoanTools shows — EMI, total interest, total repayment, processing fee impact, amortization schedule — is a mathematical estimate calculated from the values you enter, using the standard reducing-balance formula described in our methodology page. It is not a loan offer, pre-approval, sanction letter, or quote from any lender. No lender is involved in producing these numbers.

Actual loan terms will vary

Your actual EMI, interest rate, fees, taxes, disbursed amount, and repayment schedule will be set by your lender based on their own policies, your credit profile, the specific loan product, applicable regulations, and negotiated terms. These can differ from LoanTools’ estimate for reasons including:

  • Interest rates that are floating/variable rather than fixed for the full tenure.
  • GST or other taxes applied to fees, which this calculator does not add.
  • Insurance premiums or other bundled charges specific to a loan product.
  • A lender’s own rounding conventions for EMI and interest, which may differ slightly from ours.
  • Processing fees or charges that are collected separately rather than deducted from disbursement.
  • Your final approved loan amount, rate, or tenure differing from what you assumed while calculating.

No guarantee of approval, rate, or outcome

Using this calculator does not imply, suggest, or guarantee that any lender will approve a loan for you, offer you the interest rate you entered, or accept the terms you calculated. LoanTools has no relationship with, and does not represent, any bank, NBFC, or lender, and does not receive or transmit your loan details to any third party.

Not financial advice

This calculator and its accompanying educational content are informational only. They do not account for your complete financial situation, goals, or risk tolerance, and should not be treated as a recommendation to borrow, or to choose a particular loan amount, tenure, or lender. Consider speaking with a qualified financial advisor before making a borrowing decision, and always read your lender’s Key Fact Statement and loan agreement in full before accepting a loan.

Verify before you decide

Before accepting any loan, confirm the actual EMI, interest rate, all applicable fees and taxes, the exact disbursed amount, and the complete repayment schedule directly from your lender’s official documentation. If a number in your loan agreement differs from what LoanTools calculated, the loan agreement is what applies — not this website.
